How we work

Editorial policy

This page says who writes Bumpi Kicks's pages, where health statements come from, and what has not been reviewed. Last updated .

Who writes these pages

Bumpi Kicks is made by Speed AI Labs LLP. The pages on this site are written by our team. We make the app, so we have a commercial interest in it, and pages that discuss the app say so.

What these pages are

They explain how kick counting is described by health organizations and how the app works. They are general information. They are not medical advice and they do not replace your midwife, doctor or maternity unit.

How we source health statements

Each page that makes a health statement lists its sources at the bottom. We open each source ourselves, check that our sentence matches it, and record the date we checked. We prefer national health bodies, clinical guideline writers and peer-reviewed evidence reviews.

Where sources disagree or the evidence is limited, we say so on the page. We do not claim that any organization endorses Bumpi Kicks or its way of counting.

Clinical review status

No doctor, midwife or other clinician has reviewed these pages yet. When one does, that page will show the reviewer's name, role and the date of the review. Until then, read the pages as a careful summary of published guidance and follow what your own care team tells you.

How we write about other apps

Comparison pages use each app's public App Store listing, checked on the date shown. We say what the other app does well. We have not tested the other apps ourselves, and listings change.

Screenshots

Screenshots come from the real iPhone app, captured in the iOS Simulator on May 2, 2026, so newer parts of the app, such as the Listen tab, are not shown. The numbers in them are sample data, not results from real people, and the captions say so.

Reviews and testimonials

This site shows no testimonials, star ratings or review counts. If we add real reviews, we will link to where you can check them.

Pricing

Counting needs a Pro subscription. We say so beside every download button, and the App Store shows the price and any free trial before you pay.

Corrections and dates

If you find a mistake, email diyanshu@speedmvps.com. We fix factual errors and change the "Last updated" date on that page. Those dates mark real edits to the words, not site rebuilds.

Where to go next

Read the guides on kick counting, read the facts about the app, see what the privacy policy says about your data, or contact support.

Medical disclaimer: Bumpi Kicks is a tracking tool and cannot tell you whether your baby is well. If your baby's movements feel reduced or different from usual, contact your midwife, doctor or maternity unit straight away.
